Hi TM. Many (thousands, to name only "a few") brazilian fans are eager to see your performances in the venues, Bourbon Street. The Brasilia appearances...I suppose it was a thundering set. A two-set show, with a break? Never mind...be it 18 songs (tunes) or a four piece set with 18-20 minutes each tune, your bass is the only commanding force of the day! Or the strongest...to say at least.
Best!

It was probably TM's music what influenced Miles Davis' music at that 1978, late 70s period, and not the opposite. Sometimes it happens; almost happened with Jimi Hendrix and Miles, who almost recorded together. But TM did it. Bass superstar.

This TV talk show, live, is actually seen by millions of people worldwide. Very very popular in Brazil, TM Stevens. Jô (pronounced Joe) Soares is an hilarious guy, clever, alert. He knows about music deeply. Comedian and show-man, interviewer. Beautiful opportunity in your schedule, man.

TM, it would be magnificent if you could perform a two tunes set context at the Programa do Jô, São Paulo. Buddy Guy, Steve Vai, Deep Purple, Satriani, they played there. A TV talk show, live. Exciting, as Larry King. Near Bourbon Street club. www.programadojo.com.br <jo@globo.com> Diléa receives schedules.

TM, your music separates the men from the boys, like John Coltrane, or Jimi Hendrix. Fine, if we can buy in dvd your set in Paris, Socialibrium, with that electrifying bass solo. Micro-tonal, funky, r&b, african, rocker, bluesy, you name it...or your upcoming sets: Rio das Ostras, Bourbon Street.
Best!

TM, your bass intro to Dope Fiend of your concert with Stevie Salas and Bernard Fowler at the Rockpalast is the highest tastefulness I've seen in several years. Your bass solo in Paris, Socialibrium, is like an earthquake, those micro-tonal licks...And, would you make sure to brazilian production staff of Rio das Ostras festival and Bourbon Street, to record your sets to release? We from Brazil, hope the concerts can be edited, both live and for release in market.

Hey T.M. I don't know if you remember me, i'm Carlos, was at your clinic in Porto, it was GREAT, too bad i didn't win that Rock Bass to put in practice all those awesome tips and tricks you gave. And yeah, me and my brother will record some funky beatboxing stuff and we'll show you then..
By the way, as i told you, i'm more of a keyboard man, i produce some tracks too, more electronic, not sure if you like but if you wanna take a look, just check www.reverbnation.com/L4Z3R
Keep it heavy and funky!
Cheers,

First thing... I love funk!
And I think a new era of the stuff has arrived. Great vocals added to exceptional musicianship make this funk worth taking the day and groovin' it out.

Hi TM, Kat and Cindy,
I was at your gig in the Moonwalker club last Sunday. Cindy asked me (tall guy with glasses) how many addictions I have. Her guess were three and I answered five. After counting my addictions I must say that we were both wrong - there are seven!
1. Sex (Cindy)
2. Drugs (TM)
3. Rock'n'Roll (Kat)
4. Freedom
5. Love
6. Peace
7. My family
Your concert was just fantastic! I enjoyed TM's solo performance with "Monsterbazz" Sebastian. By the way Cindy is the sexiest drummer alive!
To the world: Take your weapons and throw them into the sea - Raise your bass!
Love, M.

As happened with Charlie Parker in his last two years of living,in mid fifties, it also seems that T.M.Stevens is entering new, exciting and unexplored musical territories. You only has to listen to his music with other ears.

T.M.Stevens, I guess you should try to perform in Rio's downtown...other than only the Rio das Ostras Festival. It's just, cariocas simply love the funk, metal, hip-hop, 'psychedelic shack'...Vivo Rio, Circo Voador, Mofo Bar...immagine thousands of people dancing in the streets of New York's Fifth Avenue and you'll have a close idea of what I mean. And...a bass workshop. Bass workshops are very appreciated by people here, in Rio. And who knows, we may jam together?
Carlos Bill on bass...NOW!!

Psychedelia...As if I had spent decades listening to Dizzy Gillespie and Bird, and then discovered Miles Davis, so I felt how I first saw T.M.Stevens in his legendary, furiously-driven performances. Psychedelic funk/metal, pure psychedelia to say only a few...
C'mon!!

Almost forgot this one: T.M.Stevens, I'll try to buy at least 3 of your records, live ones...such tonal/solo bass is fascinating, and we all know how masterly is your all-round technique, as the wild soloist and the cool, groovy rhyhtm and blues player...
Yeah maaan!

Hi. Stevens, your bass transcends the instrument, it is like a tool, like Hendrix and Bird used to do. Please, try to tell your manager to record and release your upcoming appearance in Rio das Ostras...
Best,
Carlos Bill.

Hi Stevens! Your bass cooks; wild slaps, speeded up improvisations, amazing melodies, all mixed up in a ferocious result. I play the bass and know when to recognise a genius when I see one!
Best,
Carlos Bill, bass player.
